Wilfried Gnonto’s agent is reportedly in London to finalise a move to Everton.
That’s according to Sport Italia, who have claimed that Claudio Vigorelli has travelled to the English capital as the Toffees near a deal for the player.
Everton have been heavily linked to Gnonto recently, with the Daily Mail claiming that Leeds United rejected a £15 million bid for his signature earlier this week.

However, Sean Dyche’s side now look closer than ever to snapping him up as Vigorelli arrives to further negotiations with the club.
Gnonto was very impressive in his debut season for the Whites last time out, despite their relegation. The winger has also enjoyed a year with Italy’s national team, with Roberto Mancini praising his ‘quality’ as he earned eleven caps for the international side.
Reports have claimed that Leeds United are eager to tie Gnonto down to a new contract ahead of their return to the Championship, however the 19-year-old’s desire to play in the top flight may force their hand.

Wilfried Gnonto’s agent’s arrival seems a little premature for Everton
Claudio Vigorelli has reportedly jetted into London to finalise a deal to Goodison Park, however it seems a little premature given that Everton are yet to even make a second bid for Wilfried Gnonto.
After the Toffees saw their £15m offer turned down, they are likely to have to bid at least £20m to secure the signing this summer and it is unclear whether they can even afford to pay that for the attacker.

Everton and Gnonto may be able to agree personal terms, however their financial issues could still prove to be a major issue in wrapping up the deal.
It will also be interesting to see if fresh reports claiming Everton are close to signing Arnaut Danjuma on loan could affect the Gnonto move at all. AS have reported that the Merseyside club will pay £3.5 million and cover the Dutchman’s wages during his stay.
