Wilfried Gnonto has submitted a written transfer request.
That’s according to The Athletic, who have reported that the Italian has put his desire to leave in writing in an attempt to secure a move away from Elland Road.
Gnonto made his desperation to depart clear when he made himself unavailable for Leeds United’s fixtures against Birmingham City and Shrewsbury Town this month.

Gnonto attracted interest from across Europe this summer after a stellar debut campaign that saw him claim six goal contributions in 24 appearances in the Premier League.
The ‘special’ 19-year-old is now desperate to force a move away from the Yorkshire outfit and has since been the subject of multiple bids from Everton.
The Toffees are huge admirers of Gnonto and have most recently offered £25 million including bonuses and a sell-on clause.
MORE EVERTON STORIES

Leeds United had so far insisted that Gnonto isn’t for sale and had plans to reintegrate him back into the first team and offer him a new contract, however the winger is now pushing for his exit even further by handing in a request.
The news comes ahead of the Whites’ Championship clash with West Brom tonight, in which Gnonto has once again been left out of the match-day squad.
Everton have two weeks remaining to wrap up a deal for the Italy international and they are said to be open to making an improved bid for his signature.
Gnonto would join Youssef Chermiti, Jack Harrison and Arnaut Danjuma as the Toffees’ attacking signings, as Sean Dyche looks to dramatically improve on a very weak frontline last season.
