Brazil are into the Copa America final after beating Peru 1-0 in the semi-finals.

Everton forward Richarlison played 85 minutes of the match which was won by a solitary goal by Lucas Paqueta.

Brazil will face either Argentina or Yerry Mina’s Colombia in Saturday’s final at the Maracana.

And Richarlison took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement.

Richarlison had two shots on target last night and laid on two chances for teammates with key passes.

He completed all three of his dribbles and won all nine of his duels on the ground.

The forward was fouled four times, suggesting Peru didn’t have too many answers to him.

And he even chipped in defensively, making two interceptions and two tackles. (Stats via SofaScore).

His Instagram message simply read: ‘In the final’ alongside some Brazilian flags.

Winning some silverware would be the ideal way for Richarlison to round off the season.

It’s been a frantic and gruelling one, but a major international trophy would make all the hard work worthwhile.

Of course he could come up against club teammate Mina on Saturday, which would add another dimension to proceedings.
