Everton were hugely impressive in yesterday’s win over Chelsea, quelling the threat of a very good side with relative ease.
Such has been the improvement under their new manager, the Toffees are now one of the in-form sides within the Premier League, having won nine of their last 13 in all competitions.
Much of that resurgence is owed to Sean Dyche, and not only the fresh philosophy he has instilled, but the renewed mentality that is shifting them from relegation battlers to a comfortable mid-table side.
Were they to still have the ten points they were docked, they would be just one win from a European spot now too.

Well, TalkSPORT’s Jeff Stelling would seek to laud the work of the former Burnley man, and earlier today spoke live on TalkSPORT (11/12 6:29 am): ‘What he’s [Dyche] done and what hasn’t happened at Chelsea for example, is we haven’t seen any improvement in any players, maybe expect Conor Gallagher.
‘Everton, you’ve got the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite, who’s been playing out of his skin. Garner, who’s been absolutely superb. Sean Dyche is improving players, Mykolenko.’
Who has Sean Dyche improved at Everton?
The list of players that Dyche has impacted at Everton is too extensive to name them all, but by far the most notable is Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Having nearly departed Merseyside due to differences with the manager Frank Lampard, to becoming the club’s top scorer this season with six goals from midfield already, his revival has been stark.
Another who has risen from the ashes is Vitaliy Mykolenko, who had struggled during the early periods of his career with the Toffees.
Now, the Ukraine international is a man possessed, and takes great pleasure in pocketing most wingers he faces.
Others to benefit are Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with his injury management at last allowing him a return to full fitness, Jarrad Branthwaite, who was handed the platform to shine, and the likes of James Tarkowski, Dwight McNeil and James Garner.

Many predicted Dyche to enjoy a seamless transition into the Goodison Park dugout, given the similarities between his ideals and the fanbases.
However, few could have foreseen the success they are currently enjoying, which seems to have no barriers at the moment.
