Sean Dyche has admitted he had a decent relationship with former Everton owner Farhad Moshiri.
The former Everton manager is currently without a job following his sacking from Nottingham Forest earlier this year.
However, Dyche has been appearing on numerous media outlets, with his time on Merseyside of interest.
Seven games left and on 46 points – how many points do you expect Everton to finish on? 🤔
It was The Friedkin Group who parted ways with the 54-year-old, with Dyche sharing insight to his relationship with the previous regime.

Everton had to pay Dyche and his staff over £4m to sack them back in January of last year.
The Englishman did not get to work under the Friedkins for very long before they made the decision to change their manager after years under Moshiri.
Does Sean Dyche get enough credit for his spell at Everton? 🤔
He worked under difficult financial circumstances 😫
“Then you go into the Everton situation. The owner, Mr. Moshiri was decent with me, never got involved, but obviously by that stage they’re getting like death threats,” Dyche said on TalkSPORT.
“They can’t even come near the ground. And the chairman, the late Bill Kenwright, rest his soul you know so that was another form when I was like distantly speaking to the ownership.”
It must be noted that Moshiri has since been welcomed back to Everton following the opening of the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Dyche was recently linked with the Tottenham Hotspur job following their sacking of Igor Tudor.
But the former Everton boss looks set to see out the remainder of the season without a role in the game as he does the rounds of the media outlets.
It may be more than 12 months on from his exit on Merseyside, but Dyche is still being asked about his time as the Everton boss.
Dyche has shared his struggles at Everton, which makes his solid relationship with Moshiri a surprise given the lack of backing he claims to have suffered from.
