Sky Sports editor Alan Myers has provided a hint towards potential interest in purchasing Everton as the 777 takeover debacle rumbles on.

Everton managed to pull themselves clear of danger with plenty of room to spare after finishing the campaign in 15th position.

Premier League football will be on the menu for the Toffees next season as the construction of Bramley Moore Dock begins to really take shape in the background.

Sean Dyche has done a sensational job at Everton considering the mess which is unfolding off the field at Goodison Park.

Farhad Moshiri has now extended the deadline until the end of the month for 777 Partners to complete their takeover of the club.

But with serious doubts over 777 being able to live up to their agreement, an interesting takeover claim has emerged from the Sky Sports editor.

Sky Sports man shares Everton interest from several parties

Moshiri has repeatedly rejected new approaches for Everton due to the agreement in place between the club and 777.

Everton are unable to engage in talks with any other parties until a resolution is found with 777 over the potential acquisition of the club.

The Everton owner has been called to call it quits on the proposed takeover from 777 with other parties now beginning to line up.

And it seems there is interest gathering over the prospect of purchasing Everton Football Club and there is possible interest from the Middle East.

The Sky Sports editor, Myers, took to X on Saturday to provide his understanding of what is going on behind the scenes at Everton.

Myers suggested there are a few parties showing an interest with 777 struggling to get their agreement over the line.

And the Sky Sports man even alluded to potential interest coming from the Middle East which could bring major financial power to Merseyside.

Sean Dyche will be hoping for a hassle-free summer

After a turbulent campaign for the Toffees which saw the side fear relegation for large parts following their points deduction, Dyche will be hoping for a straightforward summer.

Work in the summer transfer window may well be on the mind of the Everton manager as he aims to pull Everton back up the table next season.

But he will also be hoping that the takeover debacle which is rumbling away in the background does not affect the club’s ability to spend.

There is already concern over selling players before the end of next month and there’ll certainly be the hope that this takeover circus mess will not restrict the club’s budget.
