Everton are currently working on bringing three new transfer signings to the club.
The Toffees are hopeful of bringing in a new trio and could also see another three players depart the club, according to Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers.
Myers has claimed that some of the incomings and outgoings are ‘closer than others’, while he expects the names ‘ we already know’ to be involved.
While it is unclear exactly who Everton are trying to sign this week, the report hints that Wilfried Gnonto is highly likely to be involved after they saw a £15 million bid rejected for his signature.

The likes of Arnaut Danjuma and El Bilal Toure have also been heavily linked in recent days and could well be the other two included in Everton’s plans.
The Merseyside club have made it clear that they are willing to offload players in order to fund their arrivals, so potential outgoings could include a number of outcasts.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Mason Holgate looks set to leave Goodison Park, with Sheffield United and Southampton two clubs that are interested. Meanwhile, Neal Maupay, Demarai Gray and Andre Gomes all look likely to find a new home this summer.
Everton fans will be hoping that Amadou Onana isn’t one of the three names on his way out today, with the Belgian heavily linked to a big money move a year after joining from Lille.
It is a relief to see Everton getting busy in the transfer window
It was a little concerning how slowly Everton started in the summer transfer window, with clubs being free to conduct business from June 14.

However, Myers’ claim suggests that the Toffees are finally kicking on as they look to complete three new signings in the coming weeks.
Fans will hope that that isn’t the end of their transfer activity however, given their obvious lack of depth all over the pitch.
