Some Everton fans react to FA Youth Cup victory over Chelsea

Everton are into the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup after a 2-1 away win over Chelsea.

Sean McAllister netted a double with a goal in each half to secure the victory.

The winner came just three minutes from time and sets up a last eight clash with West Brom.

The result is hugely impressive given Chelsea’s outstanding record in the competition in recent years – they won it in five straight years between 2013 and 2018.

Everton knocked another fancied opponent out in the previous round – Manchester City – which shows the future is bright at Goodison Park.

McAllister’s strikes were both from outside the area, showcasing his quality from distance.

Some Toffees on Twitter were hugely impressed with the result and sent messages of congratulations to Paul Tait’s side.
