In the end it cost them as Michy Batshuayi’s late goal earned a 1-1 draw for Roy Hodgson’s side.
Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were the worst culprits and the England man took to Twitter after the game.
He held his hands up for not putting the game to bed as Everton’s poor home form continued.
Last night was another opportunity missed for Everton to make up ground in the race for the Champions League spots.
They’ve failed to beat Newcastle, Fulham, Burnley and now Palace at home since the turn of the year.

That’s not good enough for a side of their aspirations and 12 points from those matches would have Everton comfortably in the top four.
