Everton are looking at a number of midfield options at the moment.
Two bids have gone in for Hayden Hackney, who was the Championship Player of the Season with Middlesbrough last term.
Everton are also linked with Shea Charles at Southampton, and Udinese’s Arthur Atta is an option as well.
After watching him for England vs Croatia, I’m convinced he’d be the perfect right-back signing this summer! 🔥
There is another midfielder being rumoured with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and it’s actually one who’s already plying his trade in the Premier League.

Everton interested in signing Sander Berge from Fulham
According to Sportsboom, Everton are keen on signing Fulham’s towering midfielder Sander Berge this summer.
The report claims that the Toffees are being rivalled by newly-promoted Hull City for Berge, who is considering a departure following Marco Silva’s exit.
‘Tentative talks’ are ongoing, so perhaps Moyes’ chiefs are gaining intel on whether he’d be open to making a switch to Merseyside before the club make an official bid.
Everton’s fixtures for 2026/27 have been released! What immediately caught your eye about them? 🤩
Berge stands at 6ft 5in tall, so he’s a very imposing presence and fits the bill of a typical Moyes midfielder.
The 67-cap Norway international, who is currently away at the World Cup, is exceptional on the ball and would offer poise in the middle of the park.
So, his profile means he’d be competing with James Garner rather than Idrissa Gana Gueye, who’s more of a ball-winner.
Fulham shelled out £25m on Berge’s signature two years ago, so they’d probably be keen on making a small profit to sanction his sale.
Perhaps a bid in the region of the £30m mark would be enough to get a deal done.
