Would Iliman Ndiaye join Everton?
Iliman Ndiaye is one figure who has been linked with a Merseyside switch, having previously opted for Marseille over Goodison Park in the summer.
However, the Senegal international has struggled to make his mark in France, despite having scored 14 and assisted 11 in the Championship last season for Sheffield United.
That same report does suggest that the 23-year-old is prepared to stay and fight for his spot, so it would take something special to tempt Ndiaye to return to England so soon after leaving.
Who is Archie Brown?
Another position that Dyche is clearly seeking to bolster is at full-back, with Vitaliy Mykolenko’s spot one that could now see some added competition.
The Ukrainian’s absence against Fulham saw the normal system fall to pieces, so their interest in Gent’s Archie Brown will excite fans.
As a 21-year-old Englishman who has impressed in Belgium, the former Derby County star would make a fine foil for Mykolenko, with his 6 foot 3 frame certain to prove fruitful under Dyche’s leadership.
This is exactly the kind of market that Thelwell must be searching in, for lesser-known talents for a cut price.
Are Everton going to sign Jack Harrison permanently?
Having pulled a blinder by prying Jack Harrison from Leeds United in the summer, capitalising on their relegation to welcome the winger on loan, it did not take long for the 27-year-old to acclimatise.
As a hard-working and tireless wide man, Dyche threw the magician straight into his starting side as soon as he was deemed fit.
Therefore, should the opportunity arise to sign him permanently, he would surely take it, even for the reported £30m price tag.
