The Esk slams Farhad Moshiri as fresh Everton administration ‘threat’ emerges

It is so tiring that, even in achieving safety, negativity remains rife around Everton.

And whilst fans are briefly enjoying the relief that such fine Premier League performances have conjured, off the pitch things still remain very much up in the air.

It has been a petrifying year for the Toffees, and one wrought with the constant threat of administration and dissolution.

Even a protracted takeover has not eased worries, instead only adding fuel to the flames of fear that are threatening to engulf Goodison Park.

The Esk once again questions 777 Partners’ credentials

Writing on his blog just yesterday, fan and finance guru Paul Quinn has once again offered his verdict on that ‘threat of administration’ which Farhad Moshiri and 777 Partners’ relationship continues to threaten.

Better known as The Esk on X, his assessment was long, but when focusing on the Iranian businessman, it marked a must-read.

He wrote: ‘What sort of way is that to run a football club? What sort of way is that to treat fans? What sort of way is that to treat employees, commercial partners and others? How can one (Moshiri) be so contemptuous of those whose lives this impacts most of all?

‘What sort of person forces communications staff to feed media and fans alike a narrative that daily and with growing evidence becomes less and less credible?

‘What sort of person puts his manager and players through all the machinations of this season, whilst ultimately knowing his chosen solution will never come to fruition?

‘What sort of person forces individuals to compromise their careers and probably their own integrity whilst in the employment of Everton to cover for his eight years of ineptness and his greatest folly, his choice of 777 Partners?

‘Somebody at Everton has to burst this Moshiri induced narrative, that the current situation will be resolved successfully and that 777 have a viable future ahead for themselves but specifically, for Everton. That is clearly not the case. We, as a club, have to rise from this sense of denial and face the reality of the situation. We need leadership from within either to promote alternatives or accept reality.

‘The reality of continuing down this path is administration – 777’s failure to complete (which should have been recognised eight months ago) and the inability to continue funding.’

Farhad Moshiri continues to make crazy Everton decisions

Whether he is heavily involved or completely anonymous, it really does seem like Moshiri can do nothing right with Everton.

After all, his involvement in the earlier years of his reign have undoubtedly led to their current struggles on the financial front, affording the unqualified and the uninformed to fritter away a fortune.

And yet now, with his absence obvious, he is nowhere to be found except when attempting to force through an unrealistic sale to 777 Partners.

His crazy decision-making at Everton has been wholly inexplicable, and it seems that even in departing he continues to maintain this trend.
