One final game stands between Everton and the summer where the club will be looking to make a splash in the transfer market.

David Moyes will be taking his side up to Tyneside on Sunday but there will already be one eye on the summer transfer window.

The Friedkins are handing Everton a substantial transfer budget and rewarding Moyes for the work he has done to save the club from relegation.

Premier League football was crucial for the Friedkins as Everton prepares for their move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium over the coming months.

The Blues will also have the lure of playing at their state-of-the-art stadium which will certainly prove attractive to many players.

With a busy few months ahead for the club, Everton are already plotting a bid to land their first signing under the Friedkins.

Everton preparing bid for Ngal’ayel Mukau

Everton are keen to improve their midfield this summer when the window does open.

It is going to be a huge summer for the club with Angus Kinnear already expecting to have his work cut out after joining from Leeds United.

According to Africa Foot, Everton are now preparing their opening bid for Ngal’ayel Mukau who has impressed massively at Lille.

It is claimed Everton have already sent their scouts to watch the youngster in action, which has convinced them to proceed with their interest.

A bid in the region of €20m (£17m) is in the works as the Toffees look to wrap up a deal quickly for the midfielder.

Ironically, Everton are also keen on Lille’s Angel Gomes who is set to leave the club as a free agent.

Clearly, the club have their options already lined up, and quick additions are on the mind for the Blues ahead of what’s going to be a hectic summer.

Who is Ngal’ayel Mukau?

The 20-year-old midfielder has enjoyed an impressive campaign in Ligue 1 with Lille where he has played alongside the likes of Gomes.

Mukau played a considerable role in Lille’s Champions League campaign, too.

Everton signed Amadou Onana from Lille a number of years ago and could look to replicate that this summer.

But whether they will be able to convince the French side to sell when they are already losing Gomes remains to be seen.
