Everton winger Arnaut Danjuma has revealed what the biggest difference is between the Premier League and the other divisions he has played in.
The Dutch international joined the Toffees on loan from La Liga side Villarreal in the summer, scoring two goals in six games in all competitions so far this campaign.
Indeed, it is Danjuma’s third spell in England after previously signing for Bournemouth and most recently Spurs, when he joined the London club over a proposed move to Everton.

However, the 26-year-old joined the Blues at the second time of asking in the summer, and has now stated the biggest difference between the English top-flight and the other leagues he has played in, which include the Dutch, Belgian and Spanish premier divisions.
Speaking via a Kick livestream, Danjuma said: “The main difference is the physicality.
The Dutch league is a good place to develop, but it’s good to get out to develop. The Belgian league is good to develop physical attributes.
I really enjoyed playing in La Liga. Every player you play against has technical abilities. The Premier League tops the chart in terms of the physicality.”
Arnaut Danjuma showing promise but Everton must improve
Everton have had a disastrous start to the 2023/24 season, picking up just one point from the opening five games of the season.
However, Arnaut Danjuma has been a rare bright spark in an otherwise dreadful period for Sean Dyche’s side, with his recent equaliser at Bramall Lane earning the Toffees their first point of the season.

Indeed, the 26-year-old also scored a late winner away at Doncaster Rovers in the Second Round of the League Cup, finding the net alongside fellow new signing Beto.
Danjuma was recruited for his attacking prowess and eye for goal, and with Everton yet to record a Premier League victory this season, Sean Dyche could do with a big display this weekend at Brentford.
