Everton legend Neville Southall has now made his feelings clear regarding chairman Bill Kenwright in a clear message to the club.
The former goalkeeper has insisted that ‘times up’ for Kenwright as fans continue to demand change at the club’s head table.

Indeed, taking to Twitter, Southall tweeted about former teammate and departing board member Graeme Sharp, stating: “Sharpy will be my friend to the day I die. We have gone through thick and thin together.
Nothing will ever break that friendship. I sit down and wonder what I would have done. The honest truth is I don’t know. I think I do but I am guessing.”
A fan responding to Southall’s tweet asked the ‘keeper his thoughts on Bill Kenwright, to which the former Wales international replied: “Times up”.
Southall message to Everton is now undeniable, Kenwright must leave for the sake of the club.
There have been numerous fan-led protests in recent years that have gathered pace in the past 12 months, recently culminating in the departures of Grant Ingles, Denise Barrett-Baxendale and Graeme Sharp.

Indeed, Sharp’s association with the club’s current custodians has led to some fans to question his legacy as an Everton legend, which was unquestionable during his playing days as the forward lifted two league titles, one FA Cup and a European Cup Winners’ Cup.
However, the future of chairman Bill Kenwright still remains unresolved, with the club failing to meet a self-imposed 48-hour deadline to provide fans with an update regarding his future.

That was now a week ago, and the club has yet to indicate exactly what the future holds for Kenwright, nor have they released information about interim board member positions, as was promised.
In what could be a defining summer for Everton, with both an on and off the pitch overhaul required, Neville Southall has sent a clear message to the club.
For Bill Kenwright, his time at Everton must now be up.
