Tyler Dibling may be uneasy about the latest Everton transfer rumour

Tyler Dibling has not had an easy ride since joining Everton – and one new rumour may further complicate matters for him at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton fans were left delighted last summer as the Toffees signed Dibling after weeks of chasing.

It had looked at one point as though it wasn’t going to happen. But Everton landed him in a deal worth about £40 million.

If you were Angus Kinnear who would you be going all out for this summer? 💰

After his performances for Southampton, there was genuine excitement.

But one year on from that move, the feeling about Dibling is very different, with the winger having struggled to get regular minutes under David Moyes.

But if he has hopes of sticking around next season and having a much better second term, then the latest Everton transfer rumour may come as a concern…

Roony Bardghji to Everton could see Dibling leave

It has been reported that Everton are one of several clubs showing interest in Barcelona gem Roony Bardghji.

Despite only signing for the Catalan giants a year ago, Barca are said to be willing to hear permanent offers for the Swedish gem, although he himself would prefer a loan move.

Everton would have a lot to do to make this happen.

But if they do get him, then that would cast a lot of doubt on Dibling’s future at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Because Bardghji is a player who primarily operates on that right side, and likes to cut in on his stronger left foot.

This is very much the way Dibling also operates.

So the pair are similar in terms of age and position, and it’s difficult to see Moyes wanting both of them.

Ideally, Dibling would be kept and given a proper chance right from the off next season.

But Moyes’ use of him especially in the second half of the 2025/26 season makes that doubtful.

If Bardghji is going to be signed, then hopefully Everton won’t sell Dibling and instead loan him out somewhere.

A lot of money was invested in him and it would be a massive shame if the club looked to move him on after just one season where he barely played.

Surely the club won’t entertain that, because many feel there is so, so much more to come from Dibling and that Moyes has been somewhat unfair with his management of him.
