Everton are reportedly showing an interest in Orjan Nyland this summer transfer window.
That’s according to Spanish outlet ElDesmarque, who state Everton have lodged an enquiry to Nyland, who is a free agent.
Nyland’s contract expired at Sevilla earlier this month, so he is free to talk to clubs and negotiate his next move.
Everton showing an interest in Jacob Murphy… does that inspire you Toffees fans? 🤔

Orjan Nyland’s international career
Nyland has had a better career internationally than at club level, as he’s picked up an impressive 76 caps for Norway.
The 35-year-old made headlines at the World Cup in America this summer as he’s been a star performer for his nation, helping them reach the quarter-finals.
Nyland produced perhaps the best performance of his career in the last 16 win against five-time winners Brazil.
He saved Bruno Guimaraes’ penalty, stopped Vinicius Jr from scoring at close range and made multiple other top saves.
Nyland did make an error in the quarter-final defeat to England, as he spilt Morgan Rogers’ shot, which led to Jude Bellingham tapping it in.
Will Nyland be in competition for the number one spot at Everton?
No, Jordan Pickford is almost certainly going to remain as Everton’s number one next season, no matter who the club sign.
Nyland is being targeted as a number two goalkeeper, with Mark Travers potentially heading out the door this summer.
Pete O’Rourke understands that Coventry City are exploring a deal to sign Travers, who has a release clause in his contract.
So, clearly David Moyes and his chiefs have earmarked Nyland as a potential replacement.
