Everton forward Lewis Dobbin now says he is working hard to help the club rectify its poor start to the season.
The ‘outstanding’ youngster says he is ‘working harder than ever’ as the Blues look to get their first points on the season on the board this Saturday.
The Toffees welcome Wolves to Goodison Park on the back of two straight defeats, with five goals conceded and zero scored in return.

Indeed, it has not been an ideal start to the 2023/24 Premier League campaign for Sean Dyche’s side, but Dobbin states that he is looking to ‘put this right’.
Taking to his Twitter, the academy graduate said: “Thankyou for your continuous support, working harder than ever to put this right.”
Lewis Dobbin was a bright spark in a disastrous afternoon for Everton
The 20-year-old spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Championship side Derby County, scoring three goals in 43 league games for the Rams.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Returning to Merseyside during the summer, Dobbin looked lively during Everton’s pre-season campaign, particularly at Goodison Park as the Blues beat Sporting CP 1-0.
Indeed, the young forward was one of the very few positives to take from the 4-0 defeat to Aston Villa last weekend, putting in a good shift in attack.
Both Lewis Dobbin and fellow substitute Arnaut Danjuma, who joined on loan from Villarreal, looked lively as they tried to get Everton back into the game.

With Sean Dyche’s limited options upfront, the young attacker could get a chance to make a name for himself at Goodison Park this season and looks to be an exciting prospect.
Perhaps another season out on loan would be ideal for his development, but any move away from the club would likely depend on who Everton can bring in this summer.
However, even if a loan deal is secured for the 20-year-old, he will likely feature against Wolves this Saturday, and hopefully he can impress in front of a home crowd.
