Everton are evidently in need of further reinforcements this January transfer window.

The Toffees are currently languishing towards the relegation zone after their goalless draw with fellow strugglers West Ham United on the weekend.

Everton have been really underwhelming so far this season and they’ve been really profligate in front of goal.

Fans have been calling for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to be dropped for Beto but Sean Dyche has kept his faith in the former England international.

Though, it’s apparent that a new striker is needed and with that said, Alan Myers has now predicted how many signings Everton will make this winter.

Alan Myers reveals Everton’s transfer plans

With the Friedkin Group set to takeover Everton, the club are set to have a much needed cash injection for the January transfer window.

Toffees insider Alan Myers understands that plans are already being drawn up and he expects at least two new acquisitions.

Everton are showing an interest in Tariq Lamptey, though, they face competition from Serie A giants Juventus.

Sunderland’s Chris Rigg is also being linked to Goodison Park, so it’s evident that club chiefs are already keeping tabs on potential targets.

Everton should go all out to sign Tammy Abraham

Calvert-Lewin just isn’t doing the business for Everton at the moment and with his contract due to expire next summer, they should move him on for a fee in the January window.

AC Milan’s Tammy Abraham would be the ideal replacement for Calvert-Lewin as he’s of a very similar profile, meaning he’d fit Dyche’s refined system.

The former Chelsea frontman isn’t getting regular starting opportunities in Milan, so perhaps he’d be willing to make a return to the Premier League mid-season.

A telling few weeks lie ahead on Merseyside.
