Many Everton fans are in agreement over the manager they want to replace Sean Dyche at Goodison Park

Everton and West Ham United played out a goalless draw at the London Stadium on the weekend.

Sean Dyche’s men battled hard defensively but there was little quality going forward in the dull encounter.

Iliman Ndiaye earned many of the plaudits along with Idrissa Gueye and Jordan Pickford, who denied Danny Ings right at the death to rescue a point.

West Ham are struggling themselves this season and Julen Lopetegui’s future is far from secure, so Everton fans weren’t overly pleased with the point.

With that said, Everton fans called for Dyche to be sacked after the game and now they’ve named the manager who they want to replace him with.

Everton fans want Thomas Frank to replace Sean Dyche

A number of Everton fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to respond to a post linking Brentford boss Thomas Frank to Goodison Park.

They were all in agreeance.

“He’s light years ahead of Dyche anyone who wouldn’t have him over Dyche needs to give their head a wobble,” @DannyWalkerEFC replied.

@cunner1878efc added: “Yes please he’s a fine manager and a million times better than Dyche.”

@cal_ycfc_efc posted: “I’d take him. Dome well at Brentford. Great at finding talent without breaking the bank. Gets the best out of players. What’s not to like?”

“Doubt he would want to come! But I’d take him, need to have a manager with a vision, build a team that will compete and play for the badge,” @Hemms10 said.

@PeterPapadopo11 said: “Thomas Frank would be an ideal replacement and an upgrade on Sean Dyche. Frank likes his team’s to be on the front foot.”

“I think he’s a step up from Dyche. His achievements at Brentford are hugely impressive and is lights years ahead as a communicator. We would definitely be on the front foot a bit more,” @1223334567888a added.

Thomas Frank unlikely to take Everton job now

Thomas Frank has done an excellent job at Brentford having taken them from the Championship to become an established Premier League club.

Despite losing Ivan Toney in the summer, Frank has The Bees just outside the top half of the table and challenging for Europe is a genuine possibility right now.

So, it seems extremely unlikely that he’d leave Brentford at this stage of the season, which will force Everton to look elsewhere.

The Friedkin Group are eyeing David Moyes as Dyche’s successor until the end of the season.
