Everton are actively assessing a number of options in the January transfer window.
David Moyes could be backed with three new signings before the winter window slams shut on February 3rd.
That said, Everton have been linked with a centre-forward for months now, with Youssef En-Nesyri emerging as a serious target.
Surely any hungry striker would leap at the chance to play in the Premier League? 🫣
Not the best look for Everton's potential new striker…
A wide player is also believed to be on the agenda, with Napoli’s Noa Lang mooted to join the Merseysiders.
Now, Alan Myers has just thrown Everton’s name in the hat for a Championship defender.

Everton circling Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Alebiosu
Writing in his exclusive Everton News column, Myers appeared to hint that Blackburn Rovers right-back Ryan Alebiosu could be signed by the Toffees this winter.
“I like the look of the Blackburn defender Ryan Alebiosu,” the journalist explained.
“The club have been linked, I believe he has huge potential and is one to watch over the remainder of the January window.”
Seamus Coleman is almost back… does that make a right-back less of a priority in the transfer market? 🧐
Alebiosu came through Arsenal’s ranks, and after various loan spells, he made the bold decision to depart on a permanent transfer to Belgian side KV Kortrijk in 2023.
Blackburn then snapped him up last summer, and the 24-year-old has continued to impress, even earning a call-up to the Nigeria squad.
Victor Osimhen is a big fan of Ryan Alebiosu
Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is a big admirer of Alebiosu and actually believes he’s an ‘exceptional player’.
“He has been doing amazingly well even before he came to the Super Eagles,” Osimhen explained.
“When he came to us, with his training, he’s an exceptional player. I want to use this opportunity to say get well soon because he actually had a very bad injury in the first half but he kept on playing. The injury was really bad.”
Alebiosu suffered a nasty cut to his foot but continued to power on through the game.
The Nigeria international was forced to miss the rest of AFCON as a result, but did manage to make the bench in the third-place play-off against Egypt.
