The Friedkin Group now only have a matter of a week or so before their Everton takeover could be announced.

Everton will already have one eye on the January transfer window, as a couple of positions could do with a little bit of strengthening.

However, it won’t be as simple as pumping lots of money into the club due to PSR issues.

There could be some movement in terms of outgoings, with Beto being linked with a move away and Nathan Patterson available for loan.

Alan Myers has weighed up the Toffees’ current situation, and he thinks they’ll make two signings in the January transfer window, but didn’t specify about any outgoings.

Arsenal are plotting a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with a £20 million price tag being slapped on the Englishman, who has flattered to deceive this season.

Meanwhile, Everton have sent scouts to watch Ogus Aydin, who currently plays his football over in Turkey for Besiktas, and has the ability to play on both wings.

Alan Myers has been giving his opinion on Everton’s transfer window and believes they’ll secure the services of two players in January.

He believes that there will be a winger and a defender signed.

Who do Everton have on the wing and in defence?

Everton could do with strengthening at left-back. Vitalii Mykolenko has been described as a weak link already this season, and Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson have suffered from injuries.

Elsewhere, Jesper Lindstrom, Iliman Ndiaye, Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison have been used on the wing, but McNeil has been predominantly used centrally.

Harrison has struggled and Lindstrom is yet to really show much, so an exciting winger with a proven track record of contributing is required.

However, money could be an issue with PSR to worry about at Goodison Park.
