Alan Pardew has now revealed what is concerning him about Everton ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The dust has not even settled on the conclusion of the 2023/24 Premier League season which saw Sean Dyche lead Everton to a comfortable finish in the end.
A turbulent campaign for the Toffees saw Everton pick up some impressive form towards the end of the term as they secured another season of Premier League football at Goodison Park.
A busy summer could lie ahead of Farhad Moshiri who is continuing talks over a potential takeover at Everton despite the issues with 777 partners.
Incomings and departures will also be on the menu for the Toffees this summer with Everton already linked with adding Chelsea’s Armando Broja up top.
However, despite having a full summer ahead of them, Pardew has now admitted there is something which he is already concerned about when it comes to the Toffees.

What Alan Pardew said about Everton ahead of next season
Considering how Everton’s season was going for a long period of time, Dyche’s strong end to the season was seriously impressive.
The Toffees took 13 points from their final six games of the campaign as they ended the season sitting 14 points ahead of relegated Luton Town.
Of course, the points deduction has to be factored into that total too and Everton may need to offload players again this month to avoid further FFP breaches before the June 30 deadline.
But there is something which is really concerning Pardew about the Toffees’ chances next season as he spoke about the clubs who have been promoted to the top flight.
Speaking on TalkSPORT on Tuesday, Pardew admitted he feels Everton may struggle with the promoted sides expected to be much stronger next season.
“Everton worries me a little bit because I think Sean did a brilliant job. I don’t know, did they win 12 games in the end? He did brilliantly, in such adversity, with such pressure on them,” he said.
“It looks to me like they are going to have a very, very similar season, if not worse. because the clubs coming up are going to be much more difficult.”
Everton may have to listen to Alan Pardew’s concerns
Considering how poor the likes of Sheffield United and Burnley were this season, it has to be said Leicester City and Southampton will surely offer a more competitive account next season.
The two sides are both established Premier League clubs who are returning to the top flight with a lot of the players still at the club following their relegation just a year ago.
Of course, the real question hanging over the promoted is with Ipswich Town with the Tractor Boys making their long-awaited return to the top flight after 22 years.
But with Leicester and Southampton both boasting Premier League-level financial backing, Everton could well have a real threat on their hands next season if they fail to continue their progression shown under Dyche in the summer window.
