Alex Iwobi has compared Ben Godfrey to an eight-time Olympic gold medallist.
Writing on his Instagram post, Iwobi compared his former Everton teammate to Usain Bolt.
Iwobi left Goodison Park for Fulham in the summer after spending four years with the club, where he played alongside Godfrey.

The defender has fallen out of favour on Merseyside and has only made one appearance in the Premier League this season, though he continues to post photos of himself training hard on Instagram.
After posting a picture of him running on the training pitch during the international break, Iwobi couldn’t help but make a tongue-in-cheek comment on his post.
The Nigerian wrote ‘Gwarn Usain’, making a jokey comparison to Bolt, whose 100 metre world record still sits at 9.58 seconds. I think it’s safe to say Godfrey won’t be smashing that anytime soon.
Everton never replaced Iwobi
It has been over a month since Iwobi left Everton, though he is still spotted regularly commenting on his former teammates’ social media posts and showing his support.

The midfielder ended up being one of the Toffees’ best players in his final season at the club and it was a shame to see him go, but Everton did pretty well to earn around £22m from his exit rather than offloading him for free next summer.
Though Everton are yet to replace the former regular and could face the repercussion of that if they pick up any injuries this season.
