It is believed that Bayern are ready to spend up to £60m on Gordon if he gives them the green light.

Theo Walcott claimed Everton mismanaged Gordon during their time together on Merseyside.

The winger forced his way out of Finch Farm, allowing Everton to turn a healthy profit on his sale.

Gordon has enjoyed a productive past few weeks in the Premier League, which has made his returns for the season look significantly better, with three goals in his last four.

It is in the Champions League where Gordon has likely caught Bayern’s eye, having netted 10 goals in 12 appearances this season.

A lot of Newcastle fans have become frustrated with Gordon this season, with a repeat of his Everton exit potentially on the cards.
