Everton are going to have to speed up their transfer plans as the new Premier League season is just weeks away.
David Moyes is keen on making Tomas Soucek his third addition, with Everton chiefs ready to make a £12m bid.
David Moyes is confident a deal will be completed with his former club West Ham United, so that forthcoming transfer will likely be a replacement for Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Georgios Vagiannidis is also in talks to join the Toffees, however, they will have to wait until next month to complete a deal due to Panathinaikos’ Champions League qualifiers.
Now, one of their other rumoured deals may also be about to hit a snag, as Borussia Dortmund are trying to land his signature.

Everton in transfer battle with Borussia Dortmund to sign Wilfred Ndidi
Everton are eyeing Leicester City’s Victor Kristiansen this summer, with Moyes keen to provide Vitality Mykolenko with competition.
Wilfred Ndidi is also an Everton target and has been on the Scotsman’s radar for some time, however, according to Africa Foot, Borussia Dortmund are trying to snatch the deal.
The outlet claims that Dortmund have already made contact to sign the Nigeria international and have offered him a five-year contract.
So, Everton are being forced into action, otherwise, they’re set to miss out on yet another target following Johan Bakayoko and Habib Diarra.
It must be noted that Manchester United have not been discounted from the race.
Ndidi stats 2024/25
Ndidi, who has made a whopping 220 Premier League appearances, is still just 28-years-old and has plenty left to give.
In fact, the statistics show that he remains one of the best ball-winners across Europe, as he ranks in the top five per cent for tackles won per 90 compared to his positional peers, as per FBref.
The Leicester midfielder also sits in the top three per cent for clearances and four per cent for aerial duels.
Ndidi’s defensive traits have always been really strong, but he’s also added assists to his game since working under Enzo Maresca.
Last term, the former Genk star laid on five goals and in the Championship-winning season in 2023/24, he registered six assists.
So, there’s certainly a lot to like about this potential transfer.
