Chris Sutton has made his score prediction ahead of Wolves vs Everton this afternoon.
Everton are set to travel to the Midlands today as they face in-form Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Toffees will be desperate to return to winning ways after enduring back-to-back defeats against Tottenham and Man City, while they could also face dropping down into the relegation zone if they are beaten once again.
Meanwhile, Wolves are really enjoying life under Gary O’Neil. Bar a surprise hammering by West Ham earlier this month, the team have picked up some huge results including wins over Brentford, Chelsea, Man City and Tottenham.
Despite Wolves being unbeaten on home soil since a 3-1 loss against Liverpool in September, Chris Sutton has tipped Everton to ‘sneak’ the victory at Molineux Stadium this weekend.
After predicting a 1-0 victory for the Toffees, Sutton told BBC Sport: “This should be a really good game and is very tough to call.
“Wolves have won their past two games, while Everton have lost both of theirs, but I still like what I see from the Toffees – they had a go against Tottenham and Manchester City and were unlucky to have nothing to show for it.

“Wolves have been impressive too, and manager Gary O’Neil deserves a lot of credit for steering them into mid-table after walking into a mess when he took over just before the season. However, I fancy Everton to sneak this one.”
Who claims bragging rights?
Today’s clash against Wolves is definitely hard to call, with both teams in pretty good form.
Everton’s defeats to Spurs and Man City were pretty unfortunate, with both games playing out rather controversial decisions by the referee that arguably affected the outcome of the game.
Sean Dyche‘s side had been incredible in the Premier League prior to that though, picking up four wins on the bounce.
It will really depend on who decides to turn up on the day, though the absence of Abdoulaye Doucoure, James Tarkowski and Dominic Calvert-Lewin for Everton, as well as Mario Lemina and possibly Hwang Hee-chan for Wolves, could have a huge impact on the game.
