Everton are back in Premier League action this evening.

After back-to-back defeats to Liverpool and West Ham United, Everton need a positive response to keep their European hopes alive.

However, they are up against Premier League title challengers Manchester City, so they will be the underdogs.

How would you have the side lined up if you were David Moyes? 🤩

Let's hope Beto is ready to go on Monday! 🤕

Chris Sutton wouldn’t be surprised if Everton upset the odds vs Man City

Sutton believes Man City will find it really challenging at Everton’s 52,000-seater stadium, however, he’s edging the away side.

“Manchester City have got some momentum, and come into this game off the back of six straight wins in all competitions.

“Will they keep that good form up, though? The Hill Dickinson has not been a fortress for Everton this season but I can see them making it difficult for City, and being hard to break down.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if Everton picked up a point but with City’s front four of Erling Haaland, Rayan Cherki, Jeremy Doku and Antoine Semenyo in such good form, I am going to say they will find a way to win it.”

Sutton’s prediction: Everton 1-2 Man City

Paul Merson has actually predicted the Toffees to draw against Man City, potentially handing the Premier League title to Arsenal.

Moyes’ side would move onto 48 points with a draw, three points adrift of seventh-placed Brentford, who occupy a Conference League spot.

A win would lift them level with Brighton in eighth, so it’s really a make-or-break game for their European dreams.
