Everton have completed the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who joins in a £28m transfer from Chelsea.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has signed a five-year contract with Everton and could make his debut against AS Roma this weekend.

Dewsbury-Hall revealed the Hill Dickinson Stadium was a big factor in his decision to leave Chelsea for the Toffees.

He also explained that he feels the club is very much on the up, and the project he was sold was very appealing.

Chelsea supporters are gutted to see Dewsbury-Hall leave, which is also a good sign for the buying club, and the players have also made their feelings known, too.

Dewsbury-Hall took to Instagram yesterday to thank Chelsea for a successful one-year stint following his £30m transfer from Leicester City.

In the comments below, Palmer, James and Trevoh Chalobah were among some of his teammates to wish him well.

Palmer: “What a guy man. All the best bro.”

James: “Good luck ma bro.”

Chalobah: “My bro all the best.”

Dewsbury-Hall then posted his Everton photos, accompanied by a caption which read: “What a feeling to join this massive club. Excited for the future, let’s have some fun Toffees.”

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall reveals talks with David Moyes

In his first interview with the club, Dewsbury-Hall revealed that Moyes has been tracking him for a long time.

“(Moyes) said he’s been admiring me for a while; he loves the way I play and just explained to me what he sees me doing in my role in this team,” the 26-year-old explained.

“That’s what you want to hear as a player. I have enormous respect for him, he’s a legend of the game, so it’ll be a pleasure to work under him.”

Moyes added that he’s really looking forward to working with the Club World Cup champion.

“Kiernan’s quality and experience of the Premier League gives us the hope that he can adapt quickly.

“We look forward to working with him and I’m sure all Evertonians will give him the support he needs.”
