Everton are looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League on Monday against Leeds United.

Last time out, Everton beat Aston Villa 1-0 at Villa Park, giving one of their best performances of the season.

A Thierno Barry goal was the difference between the two teams, but top defending also helped Everton take a huge three points to go 10th in the table.

Up next is a tricky game against Leeds for Everton, who will be without the injured Jack Grealish. Sadly, the winger has suffered a foot injury, and is set to be out for a few months.

Leeds have really turned a corner over the last few weeks, with Farke changing up the system for his side.

Ahead of Monday’s game, Farke gave his verdict on Everton under David Moyes.

Everton are back at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday, and Moyes will be keen to pick up three points.

The Toffees have just started to falter a bit at their new home of late, and dropping more points against Leeds would not be ideal.

For Farke though, Everton definitely pose a big threat to his side’s chances of taking points.

He said in his press conference today: “Absolutely (Leeds should aspire to be like Everton). Overall, the managers of Leeds United don’t like to praise other clubs too much, but it’s a club of huge potential (Everton).

“They have quality players and also (made) very ambitious signings last summer. New environment with a new stadium gives them a chance to kickstart something they want to achieve. It’s a club with big history and a big tradition.

“They have all the chances to progress up the table. And then, not just to speak about being solid but also to make the next steps.”

Nice words from Farke, Everton must now push on

Farke was very respectful in his press conference ahead of the game and clearly he feels Leeds should look to follow the club’s example of stabilising in the Premier League.

Before The Friedkin Group came in Everton were flirting with relegation, but things have indeed stabilised now under the new owners.

And the next step now needs to be to push for European football.

Given Everton’s position right now, that is very much achievable. So hopefully we do see TFG and the transfer committee being positive in these final days of the window.
