Everton’s home form at the Hill Dickinson Stadium continues to falter after the 1-1 draw against Leeds United last night.

Everton just can’t seem to get going at the new 52,000-seater, having won just one of their last seven games there.

The Toffees did play really well in the second-half against Leeds, but they just couldn’t quite find the winning goal after Thierno Barry’s equaliser.

Everton fans, who was your standout performer in the 1-1 draw with Leeds? 🤔

David Moyes’ side lacked an extra bit of quality in the final third, with Jack Grealish’s absence quite notable.

That said, David Moyes was asked in his post-match press conference if Everton are any closer to making a new signing.

David Moyes suggests there may be a new signing for Everton soon

Moyes kept his cards very close to his chest when asked if a new signing is close, but he did appear to suggest that the club may have some news soon.

“No, not at the moment. I don’t know anymore. I might find out a bit more over the next day or two,” the Scotsman admitted.

Everton have been heavily linked to Harry Wilson recently, so perhaps that deal could be in the pipeline as a Grealish replacement.

Fulham manager Marco Silva said at the weekend that he’s worried about losing Wilson: “We are in the fight, we are trying to keep him.

“If you ask me if it’s going to be easy, I say it’s not going to be easy.”

Youssef En-Nesyri deal could still be on

Everton have submitted an offer for En-Nesyri this month, comprising of an initial loan with a £17m option to buy.

There’s been no further word on whether that offer has been accepted or rejected, but we do know that En-Nesyri’s proposed move to Juventus is off.

That leaves the Toffees as one of the main candidates to land his signature if he can be convinced to make the switch to England.

It had been reported that the Fenerbahce frontman had reservations about living in England due to the weather.

So, that’s certainly one to watch in the remaining week of the transfer window.
