Everton will hope to give Goodison Park the send-off it deserves, and can do so with a win against Manchester City.
With David Moyes hoping to continue Everton’s recent unbeaten streak at home, it will give the perfect farewell to Goodison.
Just three fixtures remain, and with City up first, this is the biggest threat to derailing Everton’s unbeaten form at The Grand Old Lady.

It will be an interesting encounter, no doubt, as there was controversy in the last fixture with Vitaliy Mykolenko lucky not to be red carded.
The other interesting factor is how City haven’t been at their unstoppable best with the Toffees probably looking like the favourites, and to add to that, Moyes knows Guardiola’s weakness.

David Moyes spotted Pep Guardiola weakness ahead of Everton vs Man City
Previously, Guardiola was impressed with Everton’s set-pieces, but that was under Sean Dyche, who has done that better than Moyes so far.
This could still be an area Moyes looks to expose on the City side of things, as the Toffes have the threat of Jake O’Brien and Jarrad Branthwaite.
Adding to this, the Goodison atmosphere will be on top form for what is a crucial game in making sure it’s an excellent ending for the historic ground.
But even before the game has kicked off, the Scotsman might already have the advantage over the Spaniard.
Yes, Guardiola is the tactical genius everyone knows, but Moyes has a few tricks up his sleeves too and exposed a ‘weakness’ in Guardiola’s City in 2017.
Speaking in a pre-match press conference as West Ham manager in 2017, Moyes said: “I think there are ways to play against them, I think they’ve got weaknesses. They play very high up the pitch, which can leave space behind them.
“But I think the coach (Guardiola) admits to his frailties and knows what the weaknesses are, but tries to make it so difficult for the opposition to get to their weaknesses.”

Moyes can use Everton star as weapon after 2017 claim
Although the admission from Moyes came in 2017, it doesn’t mean this still isn’t on his mind.
City are still known to play their high-pressing way, which ultimately leaves space behind, and what Everton excell at is their long-ball/through-ball style of football.
| Premier League sides with most long balls per match (24/25) | |
| 1. | Everton – 26.4 |
| 2. | Brentford – 25.4 |
| 3. | Fulham – 24.5 |
| 4. | West Ham – 24.1 |
| 5. | Bournemouth – 23.8 |
Long balls combating City’s high-press is the way to go as Moyes can expose gaps in City’s defence with his style of football.
The Scotsman also has a secret weapon as Dwight McNeil has returned from injury, and McNeil made the decisive impact for Everton vs Forest.
Despite being on the pitch for just a minute, all McNeil needed was one long through ball to slot Abdoulaye Doucoure in to score the winner.
This shows the brilliant ability McNeil has, and Moyes can use this to infiltrate Guardiola’s plans on Saturday.
