According to Africa Foot, the 35-year-old has received two concrete offers from Al-Ahli Saudi FC and Al-Ettifaq.

This comes from agent Taieb El Idrissi, as he claims Gueye is ‘close’ to making a switch to Saudi Arabia, and his exit from the Premier League club is being ‘finalised’.

This will not come as good news to Evertonians in the slightest.

Gueye has been a shining light under Moyes and has remained the most consistent player in the squad, always performing.

The fans love the midfielder who has now experienced six seasons with the club across two tenures, and exemplifies why Gueye was man of the match vs Forest.

His performances this campaign have been a joy to watch, and Gueye being the best tackler in Europe comes as no surprise.

Speaking to the outlet, his agent called him a ‘precious metal’ and claimed how ‘integral’ he is to Moyes’ plans.

This would be a detrimental loss to Everton and the owners will need some talent to come in and replace him.
