Everton welcome Premier League leaders Arsenal to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this weekend in what is bound to be one of the toughest challenges of the season.
Fresh from the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea last week, Everton will be looking to bounce back at home to the Gunners.
However, David Moyes is facing an injury crisis with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall a doubt. Jack Grealish’s record against Arsenal could also make him a huge miss if he continues to struggle with a hamstring issue.
How far is Moyes capable of taking Everton this season? 🤩
Last season, Everton went unbeaten against Arsenal in the Premier League, including a 1-1 draw at home to Mikel Arteta’s side.
There is plenty Moyes can learn from that draw to improve the result this time around.

David Moyes slammed Everton first-half display
In one of the final outings at Goodison Park, Everton came from behind to draw 1-1 with Arsenal in the Premier League.
Iliman Ndiaye scored a penalty after the break to bring the Toffees level, and after the full-time whistle Moyes did not hold back on the first-half performance.
As quoted by BBC Sport, Moyes said: “Our first-half performance was really poor – sloppy and slacking from the first moment.

You can pick between both Goodison Park and the Hill Dickinson!
“We gave Arsenal encouragement and that’s the one thing they certainly don’t need. They are a good enough team without it.”
Everton started the match poorly, and Moyes will be eager to avoid a similar mistake on Saturday evening.
Everton must start quickly against Arsenal
According to SoccerStats, Everton have started games well this season. If only the first half of matches counted, the Toffees would be up in seventh position.
Interestingly, Arsenal drop down to third in the first-half table, showing that Arteta’s side are not always starting games well.

Everton have an opportunity to spring a surprise on the Gunners early on at a packed-out Hill Dickinson Stadium under the lights.
If Moyes can learn from last season, Everton can rectify their mistake and look for a first league win over Arsenal since 2023.
