Everton defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Back-to-back wins have now put Everton seven points above the relegation zone and the decision to bring back David Moyes for Sean Dyche already looks like a vindicated one.

Though, Moyes is under no illusion that his squad still needs strengthening in the transfer window with the deadline just eight days away.
Everton are yet to make any reinforcements whilst all of their relegation rivals are actively recruiting, so they can’t afford to standstill.
The Scotsman spoke to the media post-match and again admitted that he hopes to sign a couple of players. He appeared to hint at the exact target he’d like Everton to sign.

David Moyes hints at Dan Neil signing
Everton are interested in signing Sunderland’s Dan Neil after his impressive couple of years in the Championship.
Moyes, in his post-match presser, noted that he hopes to recruit players from the Championship in a subtle nod to the potential signing of Neil.
Asked about Everton’s transfer plans, Moyes said: “I always believe your own academy or the Championship, in the main, hopefully come from there.
“I know we’re in a world where we can pick players from any continent to play in the Premier League. A long time ago, it wasn’t as easy and maybe people didn’t look as far. We continue to look closer to home, which is the Championship. Last year, the Championship produced some incredible players like (Morgan) Rogers, (Adam) Wharton, (Jaden) Philogene possibly.
“The Championship is always a place we should be looking to see. With the position we’re in, we could do with a couple of seasoned players but if not, we need to get players in to help with the numbers etc.
“Most of the targets have already been in. I’ve come in and been able to throw my tuppence worth, see some things and look. But the people here are the ones who have been working on it for the last three or four months.”
Sunderland value Neil at £15m
Sunderland value Neil at around £15m and it’s understood to be a really difficult deal to do, given the Black Cats’ reluctance to sanction his sale.
However, Everton’s interest is concrete having already scouted the left-footed midfielder on a couple of occasions.
Regis Le Bris is a big fan of Neil and his attributes, so he’ll be desperate to retain his signature as his side look to gain automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Everton will have to table an irresistible bid if they’re to have any chance of landing his signature.
