David Moyes left with no choice but to axe Tyler Dibling for Everton vs Wolves

Tyler Dibling started the game for Everton on Sunday at the Hill Dickinson Stadium against Brentford.

Everton suffered a 4-2 defeat against Brentford, and David Moyes will surely look to change a few things after the disappointing performance at home.

With that result, the Toffees are in 12th place, while the Bees have climbed up to seventh in the Premier League.

If you could ask David Moyes one thing following the Brentford defeat, what would it be? 🤔

Tyler Dibling lets David Moyes down

Dibling was handed just his fourth league start of the season on Sunday as Moyes expected him to make a difference in the final third.

However, the Scotsman will have been let down by the performance of the 19-year-old.

He opted to take him off at half-time for Beto, and it was a decision that paid off as the Guinea-Bissau international found the back of the net in the second half.

Dibling was rightly taken off as his first-half stats made for poor reading.

What do YOU think of his performance against Brentford?

According to Sofascore, he lost six out of his eight attempted ground duels and both of his aerial duel attempts.

He also failed to complete a single take-on or cross in the 45 minutes he was on the field of play.

The English winger also just made six passes in the first half but lost possession on seven occasions, which is dismal, to say the least.

Off the ball too, Dibling offered very little and ended up committing three fouls.

Who replaces Dibling in Everton playing eleven vs Wolves?

Beto came on for the former Southampton winger against Brentford, and his goal could see him starting with Thierno Barry playing in a deeper role.

Barry could play as the number 10 and Dwight McNeil could then play on the right wing instead of Dibling.

Moyes may also decide to play Merlin Rohl to give his team more control in the middle of the park and not play with an out-and-out number 10.

It goes without saying that playing the weakest team in the Premier League at home means that Everton have to pick up the three points.

There is a very good chance that Dibling is the one who needs to be dropped to ensure that it happens.
