David Moyes’ Jack Grealish admission leaves no questions at Everton

Everton are in talks with Manchester City over Grealish as the Blues look to bring the Englishman back for next season.

Although Moyes denied talks had taken place, he did shed light on just how highly rated Grealish is at Finch Farm.

“There are no talks [about his future], at the moment, because we’re really waiting to see how his foot is. It’s improving greatly – he’s out of the boot he was wearing now and he’s doing a lot more training,” Moyes told the media.

“There is no further news on Jack, at the moment, but everyone knows Jack – he’s loved wherever he goes, and he’s certainly loved here.”

Everton have supported Grealish throughout his injury and in spite of the recent controversy doing the rounds in the tabloids.

The 30-year-old is adored on Merseyside, with Everton keen to retain his services – preferably on another loan basis.

Man City have one final year remaining on Grealish’s deal, which puts some slight pressure on the situation, given it is their last chance to cash in on the £100m signing.

Grealish wants to remain at Everton and Moyes has made no mistake in sharing how much Everton would like him back.
