Everton fans will be expecting some clarity on Friday from David Moyes over the future of Seamus Coleman.
With two games remaining in Everton’s season, there is no official word on whether the Irishman will be around for next season.
Coleman’s contract on Merseyside will expire over the coming weeks, but Moyes made sure last year that the 37-year-old was offered an extension.

Could this be Seamus Coleman's final home game? 😫
Ahead of the 63-year-old’s press conference on Friday at Finch Farm, there will be a hope that fans will be given some notice if this is to be Coleman’s final home game.

Seamus Coleman’s contract situation at Everton
Coleman wants to leave behind a positive legacy at Everton and should certainly have no concerns over that.
The 37-year-old has been a true servant on Merseyside and an integral member of the club amid the recent off-field changes.

Everton have not won since they beat Chelsea in March… 🫣
“I would make a place for him, one way or the other, whatever happened. There are no discussions at the moment, the focus is on the games,” Moyes said last month.
However, the Hill Dickinson Stadium could be set to host Coleman’s final home outing as an Everton player on Sunday, which fans will want to be aware of.
Coleman has earned his coaching badges at Everton, which has even seen him sit up in the stands alongside Moyes during the manager’s touchline ban.

A future on Merseyside remains a distinct possibility for Coleman, but it remains uncertain as to whether that will be as a player or as backroom staff.
Coleman deserves Everton send-off after incredible career
Leighton Baines did not get the send-off that he deserved when he decided to call it a day on his career.
There were clear circumstances that prevented the current Everton coach from being given a hero’s farewell.
This cannot be the same for Coleman. If the Irishman is to retire at the end of the season, then he should not be allowed to walk off into the sunset on Merseyside.
Although Coleman is that type of selfless character, there is no doubt that the man deserves a huge farewell on Sunday if the decision is to be made.
Coleman may not be ‘mad’ on coaching, but Moyes would surely find a role for him at Finch Farm to keep the figurehead around at the club.
