Everton are working hard to complete the signing of Manchester City forward Jack Grealish.
It has been made abundantly clear that no club is going to find it easy to sign Grealish this summer from the Etihad Stadium.
A loan deal for Grealish will cost around £12m, given the huge finances involved in the 29-year-old’s City contract.
Everton are one of the clubs who are in the race to sign the Englishman this summer, but it will not be an easy process.
Tottenham Hotspur have distanced themselves from Grealish speculation despite their need for a new number 10.
This will play into Everton’s favour as they have shown interest from the very start.
And recent conversations with David Moyes may also have helped to persuade the forward to make the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

It has been suggested that Grealish has told friends he wants to join Everton before the close of the summer window.
There remains a lot to be resolved between the clubs, but this will be music to the ears of fans on Merseyside.
According to GiveMeSport, Moyes has been putting forward his plans for Grealish ahead of a potential move to Everton.
Sources claim there is still some way to go before a deal could be struck.
However, Grealish has been tempted by the opportunity to return to his best form at the state-of-the-art new Everton stadium.
Alan Stubbs has personally spoken to Grealish after meeting him on holiday this summer, where he discussed the opportunity at Everton.
It does feel as if a potential agreement on the player’s side is falling into place, but Everton face a real battle with City’s huge demands.

Signing Grealish would be a huge statement to Everton fans
Some big questions need answering in front of goal for Everton on the back of a fairly underwhelming pre-season.
Results aside, some of the performances have not been great in an attacking sense, with only two goals scored by Everton players over in the United States.
Given the Friedkins want a statement signing, Grealish could tick a few boxes for the Blues this season.
Along with getting the fans excited, the 29-year-old could provide a real creative spark in attack – if he is able to discover his best form.
After signing Thierno Barry, Everton could really do with a player who has the quality to unlock the Frenchman in the final third.
