Everton take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
David Moyes’ side know they need a win to keep their European hopes alive, so there’s a lot riding on the game.
Paul Merson has predicted Everton to beat Palace as he feels the hosts will be much changed after their Conference League semi-final on Thursday.
Let us know your prediction for Sunday’s trip to Crystal Palace… 😬
Everton have not lost to Palace since 2022, but three points are now essential! 💪
Ahead of the clash, Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson has been speaking about the Toffees, and he singled out one player whom he has massive respect for.

Dean Henderson heaps praise on Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Henderson praised Everton’s number one Jordan Pickford.
“I’ve got a huge respect for him obviously,” the 29-year-old stated.
“He’s done it for many years in the top level. It’s not easy that, to keep consistent performances up, constantly, week by week in the Premier League. We get on really well, and keep pushing each other.”
What changes would you make to our prediction of Moyes’ XI on Sunday? 😬
It would not surprise us to see Merlin Rohl dropped despite Monday's display 🫣
Henderson also added that he’s been really surprised by how good Everton have been this year.
“They’ve been fantastic this season – they’ve had a really good season.
“They’ve probably done better than I thought they would. They’ve got some really good players who are in good form, so it’s going to be a really tough game.”
Interestingly, the discourse around the Palace sphere is that they are desperate to win today as they still want to break one of their Premier League records.
The Eagles have never finished in the top nine, so they need to get the three points to keep pace with the top half.
Any talk of them not being focused on the league and more bothered about Europe just isn’t the case, so Everton will be in for a real challenge this afternoon.
