Everton have been handed some optimism in the race to sign Dusan Vlahovic.

Adding goals will always be important for Everton in any transfer window, but bolstering their quality up front this summer feels essential.

It has been suggested that Everton have been approached by Vlahovic’s representatives as they look to find their client his next club.

Dusan Vlahovic keen to remain in Europe amid Everton speculation

Everton do want to sign a new striker and landing a player of Vlahovic’s ilk would certainly be a statement signing.

The Serbia international is leaving Juventus this summer after failing to agree to terms over a new contract in Turin.

A report from Italian outlet Calciomercato has now claimed Vlahovic is keen to remain in Europe over the coming weeks and months.

This will provide the likes of Everton with a potential boost having been approached by intermediaries ahead of the window opening.

However, there is a long list of teams who are also keen to sign the 26-year-old striker, with the following clubs credited in the report:

It must be noted that this would be a signing that would likely push Everton’s wage structure right to the very limit.

Everton remain keen to re-sign Jack Grealish this summer, which would add a hefty weekly salary to the club’s outgoings.

Whether Vlahovic would be financially viable remains to be seen, but he is certainly a player who would raise the eyebrows of Everton fans if he were to land on Merseyside.

The Serbian scored 10 goals for Juventus in the 2025/26 campaign, but it would be a huge ask for a player of his reputation to leave behind European football to join Everton.
