Everton winger Dwight McNeil has now posted a five-word message about his recent goal celebrations.

The £20m player has exhibited some superb form in an Everton shirt of late, proving himself to be a key asset under Sean Dyche.

However, the 23-year-old also seems to possess the ability to foresee when the Toffees are about to score and has celebrated three Everton goals so far this season, moments before the ball has hit the back of the net.

Indeed, in all three instances so far this season, the winger can be seen running off to celebrate before his Everton teammate has actually scored.

A 3-1 Everton win at Brentford last month saw McNeil begin to celebrate Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s strike as the England international was about to coolly finish.

The Everton man then repeated the trick just a few days later as he pre-emptively celebrated James Garner’s opener in a 2-1 League Cup victory at Villa Park.

McNeil once again had complete confidence in Garner’s finishing ability at the weekend as he celebrated the 22-year-old strike against Bournemouth moments before the £15m man scored.

Blues fans will be hoping to see a McNeil special or two in the Merseyside Derby

Taking to his Instagram, McNeil posted a story about his apparent ability to foresee Everton goals, stating: “When you know, you know.”

However, the Everton attacker also has a history of celebrating his own goals before he puts them in the net, as he famously did in last season’s fixture at Brighton & Hove Albion.

With the Toffees 4-1 up, McNeil took advantage of a defensive lapse and rounded the keeper before raising his arms in celebration at the sight of an open goal, before calmly slotting the ball in the net.

All of Dwight McNeil’s pre-emptive celebrations have come in important wins for the Toffees, so hopefully the 23-year-old will foresee a few Everton goals in the Merseyside derby later this month.
