Everton have a couple of highly-rated youngsters on loan in the lower divisions this season.

Harrison Armstrong has joined Preston North End as Everton look to continue his development before making him a first-team regular.

David Moyes has high hopes for Armstrong, but he just wasn’t sure he’d get the required game time this term.

The same goes for 20-year-old wide player Isaac Heath, who really impressed the Scotsman in pre-season.

Heath is spending the season at League Two outfit Accrington Stanley, and their fans had a lot to say about his display on the weekend.

Heath started in Accrington’s 1-0 win against Colchester on the weekend and produced a stellar performance.

Their fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to heap praise on the Everton loanee.

“Great to get first win of the season, could have easily been 4 in the first half, Isaac Heath was class what a player,” @PaulOrmerod5 commented.

“Coneely had a good game, solid head on his shoulders, Isaac Heath looked lovely as well. Can see him becoming a top player,” @DavidMarsh added.

As evinced by his Sofascore statistics, Heath was outstanding both offensively and defensively, which will encourage Moyes.

He made two key passes, suggesting he could’ve quite easily come away with an assist, and he also won six duels.

Accrington fans were really impressed with Heath’s debut, which he marked with a goal, so it’s been a great start to his senior career.

The 2004-born will definitely return a much more mature player and if he continues to impress in League Two, perhaps a Championship loan could be on the cards on due time.
