Hamer has the most assists in the second tier this season, despite operating in a pretty poor Sheffield United side.
If the former Netherlands youth international were to join the Toffees, he’d be a back-up option to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, although he’d get plenty of game time if the club were in Europe.
Evidently, Moyes and his chiefs are planning for that possible outcome, as they’ll need a much bulkier squad.
