Everton have been drawn at home against Sunderland in the third round of the FA Cup.
Everton welcome the newly-promoted Premier League outfit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on January 10th.
Sunderland fans are actually really excited to face the Toffees, as they’re keen to visit the new 52,000-seater stadium.
Although, now there has been an announcement about the FA Cup fixture that has left supporters furious.

Everton fans furious at kick-off time vs Sunderland
Everton have just announced on X that the kick-off time for the FA Cup clash against Sunderland will be 12:15 pm on Saturday, the 10th of January.
It’s fair to say Toffees fans are far from happy, with many sympathetic about the Sunderland supporters travelling down.
“Just nothing to like about modern football now, is there,” @MLWEFC commented.
@RobertosDog said: “Absolutely ridiculous kick off time! Now to wait for the overinflated match day ticket price.”
“12.15, you’re having a laugh. You don’t give a c— about fans,” @DaveBarlow4TLH added.
@scousemanblue posted: “Can we establish the reasons for such a kick off time not just for our own supporters but those of @SunderlandAFC.”
“So considerate to the Sunderland fans travelling,” @Callumefc sarcastically said.
@Tonyyates1878 noted: “That’s ridiculous. Why not 3 o’clock?”
Everton vs Sunderland will be on TV
It appears the unusual kick-off time for Everton’s third round tie against Sunderland is due to it being selected for television.
TNT Sports and Discovery+ have won the rights to show the FA Cup games on the weekend from January 9th to the 12th.
So, with that said, there may be a few supporters who decide to stay at home and watch it on the TV instead.
The Toffees were held to a 1-1 draw against Sunderland last month, so they’re clearly two evenly matched teams and it should make for a cracking cup tie.
Everton will still more than likely fill their 52,000-seat capacity, as they even managed to attract 48,000 fans for the Mansfield Town game in the Carabao Cup back in August.
