Everton should be pleased with the business they have been able to pull off over the opening stages of this summer’s transfer window.
For a club who find themselves in takeover limbo, Everton have fared well in the market having brought in four new faces.
However, the Toffees may not be done just yet as Sean Dyche‘s side have shown in pre-season there may still be a need to add further quality.
When it comes to the action on the pitch, Everton have not exactly set the world alight in their opening three pre-season games.
Goals have been a major issue for the Blues in the last two friendlies, but further firepower could soon be on its way.

Sean Dyche could soon be handed new forward at Everton
The season opener against Brighton & Hove Albion is now looming for the Toffees with just two weeks to go.
Optimism may, however, have been curbed slightly over recent weeks with Everton’s pre-season friendlies not exactly providing much room for encouragement.
Some confidence could be taken through the players currently missing from the Everton squad, including their two latest recruits.
But some may feel not enough work has been done to bolster the attack at Goodison this summer after their miserable performance last season.
According to Milan Live, Everton are one of the sides who are showing a keen interest in the Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto.
However, the Blues are not alone in their interest in the Championship forward with clubs from his homeland also on the scene.
Serie A outfits Genoa and Parma are looking to potentially provide Gnonto a return to Italy to help save his international career.
It is also claimed that Gnonto would be keen to play in Serie A next season.
Everton could land ‘special’ Wilfried Gnonto for £25m
Question marks remain over what Everton can do in the market whilst their takeover saga rumbles on in the background.
Dyche has even admitted he is uncertain as to whether Everton will be able to bring in any further new faces after signing Jake O’Brien.
“I don’t think so with the finances that we have got, or haven’t, as the case may be. But we will have to wait and see,” Dyche recently told the media.
However, Everton could land themselves a ‘special‘ player in Gnonto who could be available for just £25m from Leeds.
The Whites have already shown they are willing to sell some of their best players with Crysencio Summerville reportedly set to join West Ham.
