David Moyes will want players he can trust in his squad next season at Everton.
This might mean Nathan Patterson leaves after Moyes doesn’t trust him, and he could be a part of a major overhaul.
There are set to be wholesale changes from The Friedkin group, with some changes potentially sparking plenty of debate.
Ruthlessness has already been shown as Everton offered wage cuts to Abdoulaye Doucoure, and it’s known these wage cuts were a way to show The Friedkins are not to be messed about, as Doucoure is leaving the club.
More to the fact that the owners and Moyes don’t care who comes in or leaves, a player who mocked Everton is now being mooted for a move.

Everton target Harvey Elliott mocked 30-year trophy drought
An extraordinary claim has been made as Harvey Elliott could be leaving Liverpool this summer, and Everton are exploring a deal for Elliott.
It’s said the 22-year-old is one of the most wanted players in the Premier League at this moment after a lack of game time with the red side of Merseyside.
Everton already want Ben Doak, so to see another Liverpool player linked is astonishing.
But Evertonians won’t be too pleased with this after what the midfielder did not too long ago when Liverpool met Tottenham in the game that won Arne Slot’s men the Premier League title.
Elliott managed to mock the Toffees out of nothing, as after an altercation with former striker Richarlison, the 22-year-old flashed a ’30’ gesture.
This trolling had an interesting meaning behind it, as it’s been exactly thirty years since Everton last won a major trophy, which was the FA Cup in the 1994/95 season.

Moyes’ move for Elliott shows anyone could be signed for Everton
It’s certainly a risky move to go for a player who isn’t best liked by Evertonians, but there is no denying Elliott has quality.
He’s been showing this quality during the U21 Euros in Slovakia this summer, being the main man for the young Three Lions.
Elliott is clearly after a starting place, and Everton can no doubt provide that, but by signing the Liverpool star, it shows Moyes would be willing to take anyone on board.
As much as Toffees fans won’t appreciate what the midfielder did, Elliott praised Everton’s competitiveness, showing he could turn a new leaf if he joined.
It’s clear he’s still a very exciting young talent, and Moyes might be the man to nail down the attitude problem he still has.
