Everton are looking to add a number of new players to their squad over the summer transfer window.
David Moyes will have no other choice but to add quality to his side with a considerable number of players potentially set to leave as free agents.
The Friedkins want to make a statement signing for Everton this summer, but there will also have to be a number of squad signings made.
It is clear improvements need to be made to this current Everton squad, but the departure of the out-of-contract players only adds to the task for Moyes.
Moyes is keen to keep Dominic Calvert-Lewin among some of the other players set to leave at the end of the term.
Additions are needed across the pitch, though, and there is one defender who the Toffees are potentially looking to sign.

Everton to battle Celtic for Veljko Milosavljevic
Having met with the recruitment staff, Everton are looking to add a new defender to their squad to address Michael Keane’s exit.
Everton’s defence has actually been their strength this season but there is going to need to be some additions.
According to Kurir, Everton are one of the sides showing an interest in the Red Star Belgrade defender Veljko Milosavljevic.
The 17-year-old talent has been hailed as ‘one of the most talented footballers’ in the Red Star team.
It is believed scouts from both Everton and Celtic have been closely watching the Serbian youngster with the prospect of a summer swoop.
Alongside the youngster, Everton are eyeing Feyenoord’s David Hancko but he will be a difficult signing to pull off.
With three solid centre-back options, there is no huge pressure to secure a defensive addition but it could prove smart to have a youngster learning off James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite.

Everton would slowly develop Veljko Milosavljevic
It has been made clear from Harrison Armstrong’s development that Everton are not yet willing to chuck youngsters into the deep end.
Armstrong could potentially return to a loan spell for the 2025/26 campaign having impressed during his time at Pride Park.

Having not played a huge deal of minutes for Red Star this season, the young defender would certainly be placed on a development programme.
He may not be a player who would make an impact next season, but Milosavljevic could certainly learn from some seriously experienced players at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Tarkowski will return from injury in time for the new season and the 32-year-old is a model professional for the young Serbian to learn his trade from.
