Everton have big expectations for teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong.

Harrison Armstrong is highly-rated by his Everton teammates, with Asmir Begovic tipping the 18-year-old for a bright future.

David Moyes was reluctant to ship Armstrong on loan in January because he felt he could play a role in his side for the remainder of the season.

But ultimately, Moyes and the club decided it was best for his development to play regular football in the Championship with Derby County.

Derby fans have been blown away by how good Armstrong is and he starred in the crucial 1-0 win at Hull City on Saturday afternoon, which edges them closer to safety.

And, following the game, the Everton loanee made a decision on his future.

Everton’s Harrison Armstrong wants another loan with Derby County

Harrison Armstrong joined Derby whilst they were in a dire situation at the bottom of the Championship, but the Rams’ form has improved dramatically in recent weeks.

They’ve won six of their last 10 games with the Everton loanee becoming a key fixture in midfield and now, after beating relegation rivals Hull City on Saturday afternoon, they’re in the driving seat to stay up.

When asked by journalist Scott Gretton about his Everton future after the game, Armstrong revealed that he wants another loan to the East Midlanders next season.

Gretton wrote on X: “I asked Armstrong if he fancied himself in Everton’s first team next season or another loan. He said another loan and wants it to be with Derby again.”

Armstrong’s super stats vs Hull City

Everton fans are becoming accustomed to reading about how well Armstrong is performing at Derby and he produced yet another terrific display yesterday.

Here are his statistics against Hull, as per Sofascore.

Armstrong’s heatmap was incredible, too, as he covered virtually every blade of grass, evincing his engine.

Sunderland and Burnley have been sniffing around Armstrong recently, but it seems Derby are his preferred destination.
