Sean Dyche has been the deciding factor as Everton morphed from relegation candidates to a potential mid-table side, and now he’s been praised.

Everton have won three games on the bounce now which has seen them shoot right out of the relegation spots and toward the group of teams who are midtable.

Due to his excellent tactical system and the fact he’s helped several Toffees stars adapt and become the best versions we’ve seen of them.

Recently, Sean Dyche has been picking up a huge amount of praise, with Richard Keys stating the Goodison Park manager is on course to become a club legend.

Ian Wright was also lauding Dyche as he praised the recent form that the Blues have been putting in.

Sean Dyche on to something special at Everton

Speaking on BBC Radio Merseyside on Wednesday, journalist Mike Hughes was full of excitement in a glowing review of Dyche.

“Whisper it, Sean Dyche appears to be building something special. Every successful Everton team had a style with determination and resilience at its core. This squad has those in abundance.
It’s too soon to get carried away with the future, particularly given the club’s precarious off-field position, but progress under Dyche is obvious.

“What Sean Dyche has done is what the best managers do – vastly improve the squad with man-management and tactical skills. The Blues boss has worked with wisdom and diligence to bring out the best in his players.”

Continuing, Hughes highlighted the improvements of one player in particular who’s benefitted from Dyche’s input.

“Vitaliy Mykolenko’s improvement is perhaps the most noticeable. His understanding of what’s required defensively have increased tenfold. Dyche is helping players maximise their talents while ensuring they buy in to his philosophy of what you need to succeed at a club like Everton.”

Dyche could be vital for Everton’s resurgence

At Burnley, early on Dyche had them challenging the top 10 regularly and even took them to the Europa League in 2018.

This all done at a club which with all due respect is a fraction the size of Everton are and this means if Dyche can replicate, he could find his side have an even higher ceiling than Burnley.

Everton won’t be expected to be winning trophies, and ensuring their standing in the top half would see Dyche instantly become a club legend, saving the Toffees from the perilous position he found them in.
